Job Title: Senior Business Development Executive – ERP Sales
Location: Bangalore
Job Summary:
Responsible for lead generation, lead development, conversion, and overall pipeline management for a target customer profile. The person is also expected to coordinate pre-sales and contract closure activities. As a part of the sales team, the person is expected to contribute towards sales and marketing activities across the company.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree ( Business Degree Preferred )
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in B2B Enterprise Software Sales (preferably ERP)
Required Capabilities:
● Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
● Proven experience in B2B ERP or enterprise software sales
● Ability to listen and understand customer perspective (requirements, concerns, preferences)
● Ability to position ERP value beyond features (ROI, control, scalability, compliance)
● Strong qualification skills (budget, authority, need, timeline)
● Experience managing long and complex sales cycles
● Ability to engage agreeably with prospects and negotiate in a professional manner
● Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
● Adept in networking, time management, and problem-solving.
● Ability to adapt to the company’s culture effectively and work with colleagues across functions
● Ability to represent the company at offline networking events, community events and hearings to generate leads
Other desired capabilities:
● Experience in digital marketing
● International sales exposure
● Experience selling ERP in specific industries (Manufacturing,Retail, Distribution/Trading, Services)
● Ability to independently conduct High-level demos/ Fit-gap discussions
● Understanding of ROI and business case development, and ability to position ERP as a business investment rather than IT spend
Key responsibilities:
● Develop lead pipeline through online sources like LinkedIn Sales Navigator or through partners
● Engage with leads, understand the sales opportunity, provide quotations and drive opportunities to closure.
● Achieve monthly sales targets across key performance indicators (KPIs).
● Directly oversee the growth of assigned markets and clients.
● Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and conferences.
● Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
● Contribute to digital marketing efforts in the company
● Help in tuning companies’ sales processes and in developing sales/marketing assets.
Other Considerations:
● Prefer short notice period – less than 30 days
● Prefer people who are currently based in Bangalore / Karnataka or have worked in Bangalore recently
● Role requires the ability to travel at short notice
● Salary – Upto 12 L ( 25% variable )
